Who might be a good love interest for a character in a roleplaying game? It could be a childhood sweetheart, or a person met across a smoky room. A dozen authors wrote their interpretations of romance in an RPG, fans chose a favorite, and all are available for use in games from basic fantasy to sci-fi.
The Warlock’s Journal is an interdimensional book that moves through the planes always seeking new information. In February 2014 it was discovered by the minions of Tabletop Adventures, who held a contest for the best love interest for a player character. This free product contains the 17 lovable entries submitted for the contest. Congratulations to Jason Alexander, who won first prize for “Emily Constantine.” The voting was so close that a prize for runner-up was also awarded to Chris Nolen for “Shalenna.”
